Criteria for grant awards

• Proposal must relate to science, technology, engineering and/or math (STEM) enhancement
• Implementation of the project/program must involve Iowa State Engineeering students, other interested engineering students, and (if appropriate) College of Engineering faculty and industry representatives
• Project/program must include a career exploration component
• A school assembly must be organized at which time E-Week students will present the award plaque recognizing the supporting corporation and the College of Engineering at Iowa State University and a short presentation regarding opportunities in STEM-related field will be presented by the College of Engineering and/or industry representatives
• Representative(s) of the K-12 school must attend the Spring Career Fair luncheon to be recognized by E-Week, the College of Engineering, and corporate representatives
• Recipient must provide a final report that describes how the grant enhanced STEM education
• Recipient must display award plaque (which acknowledges the corporation that provided funding, as well as the College of Engineering, E-Week and ISU) in the location where the project/program is conducted
