2008 Summer Research Diversity Fellowship Opportunities

Multicultural Students Interested in Attending Law School

University of Nebraska College of Law

The University of Nebraska College of Law will offer the "Summer 2008 Pre-Law Institute" from June 14-July 12, 2008. Preference will be given to students who will be starting their sophomore or junior year of college in the fall 2008 semester and who represent a diverse group of students in terms of racial, geographical, and socio-economic status.  The deadline to apply for the institute is March 1, 2008.  For more information, please contact Bruce Allen, ISU Pre-Law Adviser.  Click on the following link to download application information.

Florida State University College of Law

The Florida State University College of Law will offer the "Summer for Undergraduates Program" from May 19-June 13, 2008. Sixty undergraduate students will be chosen to participate in this program that offers daily classes taught by law professors and writing instructors. Interested students should apply soon as application materials have been received since October 1, 2007.   The deadline to apply for the program is March 28, 2008.  For more information, please contact Bruce Allen, ISU Pre-Law Adviser.

2007-08 Pre-Law Paper Competition

The competition is open to students enrolled through spring semester of 2008. A short organizational meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 28th at 4:15 p.m. in Room 518 Ross Hall. At that time you will be asked for a tentative topic for your paper from the list provided and Dr. Waggoner will answer questions about the competition. DUE DATE for papers is March 25, 2008.
