Professional Development and Leadership Programs

 

• ISU Leadership Workshop Series engages corporate leaders and students from the Colleges of Business, Engineering, and Liberal Arts and Sciences together for a two-day leadership retreat in the spring, and a follow-up one-day workshop in the fall
• Engineering Student Leadership Banquet brings together corporate sponsors and student leaders to celebrate outstanding accomplishments of students, faculty and staff
• VEISHEA is a tradition that began in 1922 to develop a spirit of unity. This unity included the five original colleges of the university, the students of Iowa State, alumni, the Ames Community, and others. The Engineering Student Council and the Freshman Leaders in Engineering organize and create the annual College of Engineering VEISHEA program.
