Steps for requesting financial assistance

 

If costs are prohibitive, you may be eligible for financial assistance towards camp fees from the College of Engineering at Iowa State University. Funds are limited.  

**Funds are not available to cover transportation costs to and from the camp.

To assist us in determining eligibility for financial assistance, we will consider approximately the same income guidelines that the National School Lunch Program uses for free or reduced school lunches.

Include your financial assistance request by providing the following information on a separate sheet of paper. Mail with your students’ registration materials:

1. State your household size (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8+)
2. State your income range (see Annual Income range below)
3. Include a short paragraph explaining why your student desires to attend our workshop and why the cost to attend will be a hardship for your family. Formal documents (such as tax returns) are not necessary. All information will be kept confidential.
