Where is ECS Located?

  • Exit Airport LEFT onto Fleur Drive. Continue for 3.4 miles where Fleur Drive becomes Martin Luther King Dr.

  • 1.1 miles - merge onto I-235E

  • 6.5 miles - Keep LEFT to take I-35 N toward MINNEAPOLIS/I-35 N

  • 25.1 miles - Merge onto US-30W via EXIT 111B toward Ames/Iowa State University

  • 3.5 miles - Take University Blvd exit (Exit 146) toward I.S.U.

  • 1.4 miles - continue on University Blvd to Lincoln Way and turn left.

  • Take Lincoln Way past Ash Ave (3rd set of lights). Continue to the next drive on the north side which immediately turns right into the Memorial Union Parking Ramp.

  • Parking is available in the Memorial Union Parking Ramp. You will receive a ticket when you drive in.  It is important that you take the ticket with you after you have parked your vehicle.  When it is time to return to your vehicle, stop first at one of three pay stations or at the Memorial Union Main Desk to pay for your parking.  A validated ticket will be returned to you.  You will have 15 minutes to get to your vehicle and arrive at the exit gate.  At the exit gate, insert your validated ticket into the ticket reader to raise the gate arm.  Engineering Career Services is not able to validate tickets.

  •  From the Memorial Union parking ramp, it is approximately a 5 to 10 minute walk to Marston Hall.

  • Exit the parking ramp to the North on the ground level.

  • Walk towards the Northwest following the sidewalk that is adjacent to the road (Union Drive).

  • Continue past Carver and Beardshear buildings. Once you are past Beardshear, turn West (left) and Marston Hall will be the building directly in front (the old water tower will be right behind Marston).

  • Elevators are located in the Southwest corner of the building.

  • The Engineering Career Services office and interview rooms are located on the third floor of Marston Hall. Recruiters are asked to check in with ECS Office Staff in 308 Marston. (The ECS office opens at 8:00 am.)

  • Upon check-in, we will ask for a business card from each company representative. The interview schedule(s) will be given to the recruiters and  they will then be escorted to their interview room.
