| All Lab reports are due at the beginning of lab. Anything turned in after that time is considered late. | |
| Lab reports do not have to be typed, but MUST be legible. | |
| Lab reports are due one week from the completion of lab experiments. | |
| Spelling and Grammar will be considered. | |
| Anything that is turned in late will lose 20% per day, including weekends. Nothing will be accepted after five days. |
There may be a comprehensive lab final. If the students in general show a solid understanding of the experiments covered, then there will not be a lab final.
Except for Lab 1 all labs will have a weighted value based on the weeks to complete. A lab will be worth 50 points per week.
Up to 20% of the final grade will be based on lab attendance/participation. This may include a peer evaluation at the end of semester.
The following is the grade scale to be used for the class:
Note: The grading scale is not set in stone. If the top student in the class earns 90%, that will be the "A" mark, and every other grade will be subsequently raised.
