Web Projects

Every homework group will create a web page. The web pages will be shown in class during the last two weeks of classes of the semester (Thursday, Dec. 4, Tues. Dec. 9th and Thurs. Dec. 11th). One or more people from each group will use the computer at the front of the class to present the group's pages.
The emphasis of the web page is primarily on creating a web site. I am not looking for highly technical web page projects. Please pick a simple project that you can do a good job of displaying the content.
Here are some links to help you find articles to reference in your project. Contact me if you have problems finding articles or using the Library databases.
All IEEE publications: Most areas of engineering have important journals here.
Applied Science and Technology Abstracts : good general database to many engineering and science articles; includes IEEE, SPIE and others.
Association for Computing Machinery: This professional society publishes on many engineering-related topics. Click on the ACM Digital Library link at the top of the page to get to the search box, then type in your keywords. Examples of topics: biometrics, object recognition, image processing, watermarking, network security, P2P networks.
MathSciNet. This database has articles that are mathematical in nature and published in many different journals. There are some theoretical engineering-type articles there.
