Quiz Policies
A. Three of the four quizzes will count. Makeups will be given only for sickness and other unavoidable business as long as it is cleared in advance. Makeup quizzes will be the same as regular, so students are on the honor system to not give or receive information about the makeup quiz.
B. You are responsible for anything I write on the board during a quiz. Be alert.
C. Quizzes and final exam are closed book, but you are allowed a formula sheet, 8-1/2 by 11, both sides, for each quiz, and plus an extra sheet for the final.
D. If you do not understand what I am asking in a quiz problem, ask me during the quiz - don't tell me later that the problem was unclear. If you have a question during a quiz, come forward and ask me personally. Do not speak out and disturb the other students.
