The Iowa State student chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) has been named the 20042005 Outstanding AGC Student Chapter by the AGC Construction Education Committee. The award is based on levels of activity and participation of the student chapters, with a particular emphasis on outreach activities to communities and schools. Judging is based on a numerical grading system, and Iowa State came out the clear winner, according to Barbara L. Hickman, director of AGC Management Advancement Programs.
