ESC Events:

Leadership Workshops

The Engineering Leadership Workshops were designed with a dual purpose. The main purpose is to provide a learning opportunity for engineering students to gain exposure to key leadership attributes through their participation in four or five seminars that are held on Friday evening and Saturday morning. These seminars are hosted by corporate engineers and cover various engineering and leadership topics. The second purpose is to put students in front of the Corporations that sponsor these events. Each table consists of students, senior engineers, and recruiters, which provides a great opportunity to network and find internship and employment opportunities. Meals are provided for dinner Friday evening and breakfast and lunch Saturday.

Engineering Leadership Banquet

The Engineering Leadership Banquet was created to recognize leaders among the college of engineering.  Since its beginning in 2000 it has given recognition to the presidents and outstanding members in each engineering club or organization. The Banquet is also used to recognize the Dean's
Leadership Award recipients.  The banquet is sponsored by companies representing all aspects of engineering allowing us to make the event free to all students in attendance.  The Banquet is also opened up to all engineering students and serves as a great networking event to allow some individual time for students to talk with companies.  The Engineering Leadership Banquet is organized by the Engineering Student Council and is an important way ESC recognizes all the clubs and organizations it represents.
