For many students, the academic world is a place to prepare for a career in industry. For AEEM Associate Professor Vinay Dayal, it makes perfect sense to establish a strong interaction between the two and reap the benefits of their synergy. During the summer, Dayal spent eight weeks touring Boeing facilities around the nation as part of the A. D. Welliver Fellowship 2000 program. He offered his input on Boeing operations while gathering information to bring back to Iowa State classrooms. |
