Apply to be a 2009 E-week Ambassador!

Engineers' Week 2009 is currently looking for volunteers to
participate in the E-Week Ambassador program. Volunteering
as an E-Week Ambassador is an excellent opportunity to get
involved within the College of Engineering and develop key
leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while meeting
new people and having fun!
To become an E-Week Ambassador, please complete the
ambassador application posted at the bottom of this page.
Please bring your application and class schedule to 1116
Sweeney Hall on Tuesday September 8th between 6:00-8:00pm
for E-Week Ambassador Sign-Up. Ambassador positions are
limited and will be filled on a first come, first served
basis. E-Week Ambassadors are expected to volunteer at
several E-Week related events (approximately 6-10 hours
throughout the week) and will receive E-Week Ambassador
T-Shirts to help promote Engineers' Week 2009. E-Week
Ambassadors will be needed at a variety of events including
but not limited to: Senior Visitation, Intramurals,
Engineering Career Fair, Lunches, and E-Ball.
If you have any additional questions, please contact the
Engineers' Week Resource Management Co-Chairs at
isu.eweekbudget@gmail.com. We would be happy to answer
any questions regarding the E-Week Ambassador program (i.e.
ambassador responsibilities, volunteering requirements,
etc.).
Please Note: The ambassador program has undergone several
changes from prior years. When completing the application,
please remember to select which program you would like to
participate in (General E-Week or Engineering Career Fair).
As opposed to previous years, ambassadors who would like to
volunteer at the Career Fair will be expected to work a
minimum of four hours at the event on September 22nd and
will be solely dedicated to Career Fair related activities
(i.e. employee packet preparation, Career Fair Seminars,
interviews, etc.). Each ambassador programs has different
requirements as General E-Week Ambassadors are expected to
attend the Food Safe 101 course held September 9th from
4:30-6:00pm in LeBaron 1210, while Career Fair Ambassadors
must attend one Hilton Collesium Walk-Through (groups will
be meeting on September 14th and 15th from 5-5:30pm).
