EVENTS SCHEDULE 2008
Sept. 21 - 28
Detailed schedule below
the calendar.
ALL WEEK - Sept. 21 - 28
Departmental Challenge.
Prove your engineering department is the
best by earning points through attendance and success at the various
events throughout the week. Points are given to the top 3 departments at
each event. The department with the most points at the end of the week
wins the Department Challenge Traveling Trophy.
Penny Wars
Penny wars is a challenge between the departments to get the highest amount
of positive points. How you accumulate points is by dropping pennies (+1 point)
in the bucket labeled with your department. All other coins are counted as
negative point values (dimes= -10 points, quarters= -25 points, dollars = -100 points),
and should be placed in opposing department buckets. Each department has their own
bucket in their main office. So, if you are (for example) a MatE, you would want to
put your pennies in Hoover's main office, and all of your other coins/bills in Black,
Howe, Marston, Sweeny, Davidson, Town, or Coover.
