Course: ME/MatE 389x: Applied Methods in Sustainable Engineering and International Development (3 credits)

Description: Coursework develops technical solutions to satisfy basic human needs, including heating, cooking, lighting, and sanitation. Household and community energy systems are the primary interest. Emphasis on socio-economic and cultural influences for project success in a diverse and challenging environment. Intercultural dialogue and experiences developed to improve personal understanding and technical solutions. Decision making with global outlook for needs in developing countries.

Program costs:

- Tuition/Fees for 3 credits
- Spending Money
- Program Fee: not to exceed $5000 (includes meals, lodging, and airfare)
