All former members of the Engineering Leadership Program are highlighted on this page. First is a special feature on Sarah Walter, one of the primary creators of the Engineering Leadership Program. Below her profile are all other Alumni, what years they were active in the program, their involvements in the program, and where they are now.
Sarah Walter Involved: Spring 2005-Spring 2007 Positions/Contributions: Student Director, Developer
Sarah is currently the Lead Design Engineer on
the RB282 (new corporate jet engine development program) 2008 North
American Design Make Team. Her team is composed of three early
career path high potential engineers (including Sarah), a project
manager, a designer and an analyst. The team develops a design using
the Design for Process Excellence tool set within 12 weeks to
compete globally against other Rolls-Royce Design Make Teams. Her
team has won the 2008 North American Design Make Award and will
attend the Leadership and Development Awards
Ashley Good Years Involved: Fall 2006-Fall 2007
Sasha Kemmet Years Involved: Spring 2006-Spring 2007 Sasha was on the initial development cohort of the ELP starting in spring 2006. Sasha is currently in graduate school at Iowa State University.
Greg McGrath Years Involved: Spring 2006-Spring 2008 Greg was in the initial development cohort of the ELP starting in spring 2006. He went on to lead the program as its student Director for the 2007-2008 academic year. After graduation, Greg went to work for General Mills in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Meredith Ritter Years Involved: Fall 2006-Spring 2007 Meredith is studying chemical engineering at Iowa State while pursuing a variety of leadership development experiences both on and off campus
Tyler Rasmussen Years Involved: Spring 2006-Spring 2007 Tyler was on the initial development cohort of the ELP starting in spring 2006. He served as an ELP Associate Director until he graduated in May 2007. He is now a Project Engineer at 3M, working in Minnesota. He continues to be involved as the main contact point between 3M and the ELP.
Aaron Seitz Years Involved: Spring 2006-Spring 2007 Aaron was on the initial development cohort of the ELP starting in spring 2006. He served as an ELP Associate Director until he graduated in May 2007. He is now a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati pursuing a Master's of Physiology with goals of attending medical school in the future.
