Application Process Application for acceptance into the Iowa State University College of Engineering's Engineering Leadership Program (ELP) is a three step process. Please note that Step 2 and Step 3 will not be available until the application is available (by March 28, 2008).
1. Review the ELP informational PowerPoint presentation. The presentation gives a good overview of the ELP. It outlines the goals of the program and requirements for its participating students. It also lists some of the unique opportunities available to students who become involved with the ELP.
2. Create an ELP user ID and log in to the ELP application page. This user ID allows you to begin completing your ELP application. However, it is not necessary for you to complete the application in one sitting. Your ELP user ID allows you to log in and continue working up to the application deadline (April 16th, 2008). Please note that your ELP user ID is different than an account ID you may have created to complete your application for admission to Iowa State University.
3. Complete and submit your application for acceptance into the Engineering Leadership Program. In order to complete the application, you must provide current biographical information (Name, Address, Email, etc), academic information, and responses to a series of short answer questions. Please note that in order to be accepted into the Engineering Leadership Program, you must also be accepted to the Iowa State University College of Engineering.
