Program Description

 

Minds of Tomorrow (MOT) is a grant program that partners the College of Engineering with K-12 schools and corporations to increase the pipeline into engineering-related fields.  The MOT grant program creates a source of funds that will provide grants to K-12 schools to enhance their science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs.  The success of the MOT program is dependent upon:

-Corporations providing funds for K-12 STEM grants

-K-12 schools seeking grants

-Iowa State's College of Engineering students/faculty/staff, corporate partners, and K-12 students/teachers jointly implementing winning grant proposals
