 New DirectorKristin Littlejohn joined the College of Engineering in April as director of alumni relations and special events. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Littlejohn has more than 10 years of experience in advertising and special event planning. Most recently, she was special events director for Younkers department stores, where she managed corporate special events, developed marketing promotions, and served as a public relations liaison. She has won several awards for promotions and campaigns. Littlejohn has already planned several special events for the college, including the annual football tailgater that drew nearly 400 faculty, staff, alumni, and friends. She succeeds Stephanie Elliot Ovrom who last fall took a position with the Iowa State Alumni Association. |
