Suppose you had a camera, but not just any camera. Instead of recording what is, this camera would produce visions of what will be.At Iowa States College of Engineering we produce visions daily. And while we havent perfected technology that would allow us to look into the future, the fact is we dont really need it. For simply by looking into everything we do today, youll see more clearly the shape of tomorrow. Youll see tomorrow in safer buildings, air travel, and information systems. And youll see it in a cleaner environment and better recycling of our natural resources. Youll see tomorrow as well in the eyes of a child mentored by a ChemE faculty member. Youll see it in greater understanding among nations fostered through scholarly exchange. Or a timeless religion envisioned in Iowa States C-6 virtual reality chamber. So call it a visionary camera. Look through the lensand see if you see what we do.
