The $27-million Hoover Hall will be 60,000 net square feet in size. It will include the 400-seat Kent-Stein Auditorium, high-tech classrooms, a multidisciplinary design and fabrication laboratory, computer workstation labs, multidisciplinary teaching and research labs, and general university classrooms. Hoover Hall will be home to the MSE department and to the college's computing support office. The new building will be connected by skywalks to Howe Hall and the Black Engineering Building. The area west of the Marston Water Tower will be green space.
