$450. "On-line" registration will not be available after Thursday,
December 20, 2001. After Dec. 20, you may fax the registration
form (printable document available on our website) directly to the

Conference Registration Fees
Registration fee $425 (USD) by Dec. 14, 2001
Registration fee $450 (USD) after Dec. 14, 2001

The conference registration fee includes all sessions, a CD copy of the Conference Proceedings, meals, refreshments, and events noted in the conference schedule from January 7-10, 2002.

Remember
Poster space (one poster board space per grant) will be assigned to current grantees who reserve poster space online by completing the Author Fact Sheet by November 30, 2001. Completion of the Author Fact Sheet is required. The poster session schedule will be added to the web site by December 14. Hotel Registration
Conference participants are responsible for making their own hotel and travel arrangements. A block of 300 rooms has been reserved at the conference venue, the Caribe Hilton at a rate of $179 single/double for January 5-12, 2002. The conference rate will be available until December 12, 2001, or until all of the rooms in the block are filled.

To reserve a room at the Caribe, call the hotel at 800-468-8585 and mention the following code for the discounted rate: IOWA010502 NSF Grantees Conference. There is no provision for online hotel reservations at the Caribe.

In the event that all rooms at the Caribe are filled, conference participants can register at the nearby Normandie Hotel (1-800-695-8284).

Refunds
Refunds of registration fee paid minus a $50 processing fee will be made for individual cancellations requested by December 14, 2001; no refunds will be given after that date, but substitutions are welcome. The hosts reserve the right to revise program content and presentations, or to cancel the program if registration criteria are not met or when conditions beyond hosts' control prevail. If the conference is not held, the hosts' liability is limited to a refund of the registration fee paid by each registrant.
