Online Math Placement Assessments

 

Now that you have accepted admission into an engineering major at Iowa State, it’s time to take the online Math Placement Assessments. Follow the steps below to log into the online placement assessment system. Broadband/DSL connection is required for this site.

Step 1: Get your University ID Number.

You can find your number online on AccessPlus or you can find it in your Office of Admissions Letter.

Write down the nine (9) digits to use in Step 2.

If you already have an ISU Card, Click here to see where your University ID Number appears on the card.

Step 2: Get your NetID (Email address).

Go to the web site called Account Services on the Web (ASW):

Click on “Register” to create your NetID. Fill in the required information, including your nine-digit University ID Number.

Click the “Next” button. 

Be sure to write down your NetID and password – you’ll need them for the next step.

Step 3: Log into WebCT GOLD.

You will use your Net ID and password to log into WebCT GOLD.
