Best part of being an Iowa State student: The Campus is so inviting. It is easy to get around and to meet so many people and get involved in many organizations on campus. You feel at home at Iowa State, and you can't find that feeling everywhere.

Dream Job: My dream job is to work for a company in Ag Engineering and then run the family farm on the side. Live in the country with a wife and kids.

Minor: I am getting a minor in Animal Science to help understand livestock more.  I grew up on a small farm in Southwest Iowa and have developed a passion for working with animals.

Favorite Class: My favorite class was Engineering 170. We were required to make up a new invention, complete with figuring out the constraints as a design project.  It was was really cool to see a project from start to finish!

Advice to New Students: Get involved! The more involved I was, the better I did in classes because I learned how to manage my time and also have a lot of quality experiences to talk to recruiters about at the career fair and in interviews.
