Why Computer Engineering:
I’ve always been interested in computers. I found
computer engineering to be a combination of
electrical engineering and computer science. My
specialty area within computer engineering is
Internet Security.
Dream Job: To create a
global cyber-cop type of program to patrol the
Internet to stop hackers, viruses, etc.
Cyber
Defense Competition: Teams of 4-6 students
designed, set-up and defended a network for a period
of about 30 hours. Professionals in the computer
security field tried to hack into our systems. I was
the director of the competition–it was a great
experience!
Advice to New Students: Don't be
afraid to try new things!
