  • Act as a resource for executive and cabinet meetings
  • Complete various task to assist the president

Purpose: To keep and maintain an accurate depiction of what occurs each semester
  • Compile pictures for the website and promotional materials
  • Get event information from all SWE activities and write a summary including planning details and feedback
  • Collect from all executive and cabinet members at the end of each semester what their position consists of and resources that they use
  • Help write summary for a few events to be included in end of semester reports

Fall Festival Outreach Chair (Fall Semester) – Cabinet Position
Purpose: To plan the Halloween Village for faculty/staff children and area students to have a little holiday fun and learn about engineering/science at the same time
  • Coordinate and lead a committee to plan the Halloween Village for young children to experience engineering/science
Industry, Dean and Faculty Event Chair (Spring Semester) – Cabinet Position
Purpose: Plan event during spring semester to integrate industry representatives, college of engineering deans and faculty to a dinner and discussion event
  • Create an event to integrate industry, deans and faculty to a SWE event for dinner and discussion on a SWE topic

If there is a position/event that you would like to see done but not currently a cabinet position please like Karen know and she can work with you to create a new position/event.
