Lab
Guidelines
· If you are working on a project that allows you to use extra pieces, you are responsible for getting those pieces out and putting them away (Do not horde parts).
·
You and your partner are responsible for inventorying every kit
you use.
·
Our materials can be checked out, as long as we do not have plans to use
them. If you do check them out, you
are responsible for inventorying the kit before and after you borrow it.
If you wish to do this, please talk to a lab assistant.
·
When you are working on projects that last longer than one day, be sure
to use the same kit each day. All
of our kits are lettered or numbered to help you remember which one you were
using. Your kit number should
correspond to the number on your monitor.
·
You are responsible for cleaning up your workstation and putting away all
of your materials before you leave class each day.
·
There will be open lab hours you can use to catch-up on projects or for
more practice. If you are getting
far behind, it may be suggested that you attend these open lab sessions. Open lab hours will be announced the first week of class.
·
You are not to download any files to any of the lab’s computers.
·
You are not to change any settings the computers have.
·
Please remember to keep an open mind and have fun.
